Okay so I go back on Monday and I want to do my food shop which is easy enough but I am bored of having sandwiches every day, my husband loves his cheese and turkey sandwiches but I want something different everyday.
Now on a Monday I'll be there from 9am till 6pm but I have to leave at 6.45am and I won't get home until 7.45pm due to travelling and this is pretty much the same on a Tuesday. Wednesdays and hopefully Fridays off and on a Thursday I am there for two hours home by 1pm ish.
So far I have figured out I will need to have:
Breakfast which can be breakfast bars or muffin and some fruit
Lunch, sandwich (ham and mayo), wrap with chicken, houmous & coleslaw, pasta with tuna or rice with peas and sweetcorn.
Crisps and something sweet.
Afternoon snack, I don't really know here, what do you think would be a good pick me up after snack...
Any ideas? I am stuck!!!

Housewife at work
So it has been a busy day in my life as a housewife, I should enjoy it for this week then it is back to the life of a student which is never fun, too much hard work but if it was easy why would I do? Ha ha!
Today I have cleaned the kitchen, bathroom, washed the floors, tidied the house, put away the mountain of clean washing, put more washing on, did the dishwasher twice and totally changed the layout of Romijn-online.net, oh uploaded more photos not to mention some paid blogging still got 6/7 to do otherwise there will be no payday for me next week.
Oh funny thing happened to me the other day, I have been trying to figure out how to turn the sound up on my speakers so I thought they were rubbish, I go away and the husband found out how to turn them up using a circle thingy onto of the speaker which turns them up LOADS!
Now I need advice on what colour pillow case shall I get (yes, I know boring housewife), I have a pale green wall in my living room where my fireplace is and my sofa is cream at the moment we have pale pink, orange and vintage flower pillows it (I am loving the pillows!!) so out of these five do you like?

Chicken mess!
So I was going to cook a surprise meal for my husband, chicken casserole with dumplings, all was going well until after I put the chicken in, it was smelling a little funny.
Then I realised it was off! Had to throw it away with the cats giving me guilty looks as they wanted it and now he will have cheesy dumplings and chicken soup, and I'll have vegetable soup and herb dumplings, total mess! Rubbish...

Monday Morning
Just working on a new layout hopefully be up by the end of the day ;) Okay the layout is now up let me know what you think :) I like it, very simple and I have never had a three column layout before so it is all very exciting, ha ha! So I spent about 3/4 hours doing this layout and I have just realised that in two weeks time I will be 24 so I will have to change the header but lucky for me I saved it as a psd format so I can edit it, yay!
This is my last week before I return to uni so I am trying to make the most of it, hence the layout and hopefully a layout in a magazine style on my Rebecca Romijn fansite, fingers crossed I'll get it done! While cruising the internet earlier today and yesterday I found some really nice websites out there as I was looking for layouts that might inspire me :) So here are the ones I found that I really loved and I must add that I looked at about 200 websites in total jumping from one persons blogroll to another. Minus Lavish members because I didn't want my blog looking similar to theirs :)

Other than my interesting internet surfing Onion ate a piece of tin foil, I only know this because he was throwing it up last night and kept throwing up, but he is better today, thank god! I can't afford another vet bill right now, maybe that will teach him not to eat tinfoil he finds out of the bin but knowing him he will do it again.

Fan for my father (more)
Ha ha, a new article just appeared on my dad, entertaining read :P (My dad has four children, just me and my brother no longer live with him).
The world's most famous monster has finally come face-to-face with her creator.
And it gave Nessie sculptor Ray Leaning – the artist who created one of the world's most photographed models – the fright of his life.
Ray (50), who now runs his own art studio in Ayr, was gobsmacked when he passed the Clansman Hotel on the shores of Loch Ness and his wife Carol spotted the 30-foot monster he created nearly 30 years ago.

"You could have knocked me over with a feather," said Ray.
"I thought it would have been trashed years ago and had no expectation of ever seeing it again."
Ray built the fibre glass model at a studio in Scunthorpe. It was commissioned at a cost of £3,000 in 1980 by former Grimsby businessman Robert Levant, who was running a caravan park at Invermoriston at the time Advice was sought for the design from the Natural History Museum in London to make the model as authentic as possible.
Nessie fans believe the monster to be a macroplater, a kind of plesiosaurus from the Jurassic period, and in 1991 the sculpture was given a new home at the Clansman Hotel when it was taken over by Ian Miller and his wife Denise.
Since then it has become one of the most photographed artworks in the world with Nessie hunters from around the globe stopping at the hotel and roadside to have their picture taken with the iconic monster.
And the only changes Ray could spot were its faded colour and two sets of teeth which were missing.
But the Nessie, which stands at the entrance to the hotel beside the A82, could be set for a makeover of her own.
For Ian, who owns the sculpture, is planning a refurbishment and a full makeover this winter, including "cosmetic dental surgery".
Ray, who moved to Ayr three years ago with Carol and their two children Heather (13) and Sandy (11), had been touring up the east coast of Scotland in August.
"We came through Inverness and couldn't find a room anywhere so we decided to head back to Ayr and, as I had never seen Loch Ness, we decided to travel in that direction.
"It was my wife who spotted Nessie first and she shouted 'there's your dinosaur'.
"I slammed on the brakes and there was Nessie. I couldn't believe it. We stopped, took photos, went into the hotel and found they had a spare chalet, so we had dinner, stayed the night and in the morning was amazed at the coach-loads of visitors taking turns to be photographed with 'my' Nessie.
"The loch is really stunning. What a place to wake up in the morning."
To this day, Ray has held on to some of his pen and ink sketches of the monster which show the original was made of a tubular steel frame with a chicken wire and fibre glass skin. The clay was applied and sculpted over this.
It took a month to construct and cast in fibre glass. And eventually it was painted with cellulose paint the same as a motor car.
"I was about 20 when I worked on the model," recalls Ray. "We had about three large bins of clay we used in the studio which you can re-use after the cast is made. But we didn't have enough clay to do a model of this size so it was done in two halves.
"It's a shame it has lost its teeth. They were made of a resin. But it was fantastic to find it had survived all this time."
The finished model raised some eyebrows as it was transported to Scotland on the back of a flat bed British Road Services truck in 1980.
Ian said when he bought it from the caravan park to move to the hotel in 1991, Nessie had to be moved by lorry in the early hours of the morning.
"It was a wide load and the road along the loch is narrow and winding. We have hundreds of people stopping here every day staying at the hotel, stopping for lunches, visiting the shop and going on boat trips and most people get their picture taking with Nessie.
"We are planning to give him a makeover this winter to restore some of his original colour and we will also look at investing in some cosmetic dental surgery. You can't have a monster without teeth – although Nessie is quite friendly."
Willie Cameron, of Loch Ness Marketing, said: "It's a fascinating tale that this chap should come across the model 30 years after he helped build it.
"It still looks resplendent and will look even better after its makeover. It's photographed by people from all over the world and every tourist who has visited Loch Ness will know of this work of art."
Only two full-sized models were made from Ray's clay original – the other is with several dinosaur friends at Paradise Park in Newhaven, East Sussex.

Headlines
My step-mum told me today some interesting because of most people in the world are low on cash so we aren't going out anymore so more people are staying in and having sex, according to the guardian today, we are having another baby boom, the population has increased in the way of babies by 2 million since 2001. Amazing!
I have seen a lot of people announcing they are pregnant in the last couple of months and loads giving birth :) Oh and I read some where that condoms are only 80% effective that can't be right thought it was 97%!!
Also the UK broadband tax 50p a month to anyone with a fixed telephone line is going to be started in June 2010 to stop us downloading files we are not allowed to... maybe try and get what I want in the next couple of weeks :P
Other annoying things BBC iplayer want to start charging £2 a show, well I won't be watching anything off their if they want to start charging why do I pay £11 a month for license and get nothing for it!

Depressed
Don't know what it is wrong with me right now, I am slowly losing interest in my beloved blog :( Don't know why, I guess I am finding it a bit of a chore right now and I personally don't find any of my posts interesting... I'm just feeling pretty depressed about it all to be honest.
Feb up with the blog, fed up with the sites, fed up with my house.. rubbish nothing ever gets done, and the main problem behind this is money, so I try to make money from paid blogging but all the good jobs go to page rank 3 and I have tried so hard but I am still page rank 2 :(

Domains
I am at the moment trying to get hold of domain names relating to digital-damita.net, I have found a .com, .org and co.uk. Which I am buying at the moment, I don't think I'll ever get damita.net back ever :( which is sad since yahoo.com stole and refused to release it!! I would like a .nu, so damita.nu but it is like £50 for two years maybe save up for that one :) Has anyone ever brought all domains relating to their website?
Scotland weather is clearing up which is nice :) I'm off into town today, I should really take some piccies, sleeping really well slept for about 8 hours last night :) Oh and I new recipes for you lovely people, Chicken with pesto wrapped in bacon and stuffed red peppers with red onions and tomatoes :)

Scottyland
Good afternoon from Scottyland, the weather is interesting, it was raining now it is half sunny/half dark clouds. Today I haven't done a lot catching up on the paid blogging is a must as I need the money for Christmas presents, I always like Christmas!!! I started shopping about a month ago and have already managed to get 5/6 presents mainly for the husband and one for my stepdad.
I have done a digital-damita vblog but haven't had a change to put it up on the internet maybe get the husband to upload it for me then I can blog it, hope it isn't too boring :(

Now when I was younger I had horrible skin, spots and all that horrible stuff, I never seem to be able to shake it even but saying that I did not have a routine like you should wasn't until I was 18 that I really started one up but even now I have rubbish skin days!! I do not remember my mum getting them even though she does now and spends a small fortune on anti-wrinkles cream and potions. Now me on the other hand I started using these creams about a year or two ago just be sure but when you are looking for the best wrinkle cream out there, I would give wrinklebest ago, it is a really interesting read not only does it give you a review on the latest wrinkle cream in the business but it rates them as well so you can compare all the creams yourself.

Car insurance
I have been going back and forth about learning how to drive, I thought being 23 years old I should and my mother in law is willing to pay for my lessons but then I have the added issues of getting a car and looking for car insurance. I looked at a few websites about insurance and extended service plans, the cheapest one I found for a driver without no claims and for a learning was £500 so it looks like I have a lot of saving to do.

Afternoon
I'm alive, it has been a busy couple of days, not to mention the amount of paid blogging I need to catch up on, didn't realise how far behind I am, oh well. I have two weeks till uni starts back up, I have this week in Scotland (yes I am flying away again!) and the week after that I am chilling.
We are still battling with the fleas even though we brought these massive flea remover cans and sprayed the house like crazy, hovered and what not, and still I swear I saw a flea last night in the bedroom, I could of been tried and imagined it as the husband couldn't see anything after he checked the whole bedroom.
I am currently trying to find a good webcam as I would like to do a video blog aka vblog, I am not sure how to go about this and where do I upload the video once I have edited and whatnot, maybe I upload it onto youtube? I also am looking for some software to make my videos a little interesting. I was thinking about stealing the husbands mobile and videoing myself for like 2 minutes, I am feeling shy today which is odd. If I manage to upload any videos I will post it on this website.

So I go to Scotland tomorrow, I still need to pack and print of myboarding card, I am a little worried because I didn't realise the husband is working till 8pm on Friday and by the time he gets home at 9.30pm, he will be late picking me up from the airport at 10.10pm, which is pretty annoying, if I get a train home I won't be back till half past midnight and I will have to do two changes. Don't know what I am going to do at the moment, husband is going to see if he can go in earlier or I could maybe change my flight but it will cost £50!
Okay I am returning to packing but at least I will still have the internet in Scotland, woop!

Greek Holiday
Well I am back! Hope you didn't miss me too much? Greece in one word is hot! So hot!!
When we got their on the Friday it was really early in the morning about 3am, so we just got into our apartment and went to bed until 1pm but with Greece's 2 hours ahead thing, our bodies thought it was 11am. So once we got up and dressed went to the bar across from us and had a couple of drinks waiting for the rep who didn't turned up!
Husband and me were so hungry as we haven't eaten for 24 hours and we didn't know where to go plus it was raining! Managed to get a cab into the town centre only to find the car hire company had moved and we didn't know where it was! Wandering around Kos in the rain was not enjoyable, we did find the car hire place in the end, it was about 30 minutes away from where the cab dropped off. We were at the car hire place only to find that it was shut, in Greece shops shut between 2pm and 5/6pm.
So we are hungry, wet and no place will serve us food until 5pm, managed to find a little cafe where we had club sandwich and burgers with garlic bread, soooo good! Not the best but when you are as hungry as we were I would of eaten anything.
Got the car, drove to super market brought a few bits and went back to the apartments only to see there was a super market about 2/3 minutes walk from where we were staying! Anyway the husband went to sleep and got up at 9pm, we had jam sandwiches and chatted on our balcony.
Saturday I managed to go to the super market up the road and buy some croissants and other bits for the room while the husband was still asleep, these croissants were huge! Like the size of a dinner plate!! Crazy and really cheap, we had orange juice and croissants for breakfast, yum yum!
Also over night we had a huge topical thunderstorm, lighting, thunder and loads of rain, it had cleared up on Saturday though :)
We took our white hire car into Kos Town centre, we went and looked at all the ruins and the habour. Brought some postcards and wrote them :) Rest of the evening we sat on the balcony and drank our lovely vodka and coke.
Sunday, I was very proud of myself because it in that tiny kitchen I made fried egg and fried bread for the husband which he enjoyed lots! After we had breakfast we went for a random drive up the mountains and took so amazing pictures!!!
In the evening we went into Kos Town again, oh I forgot to say there are cats everywhere in Kos, just wandering around, we must of seen about 50 in our trip! Went to a great cafe right on the sea with views to turkey, had pizza and spag bol!
Monday, back into Kos Town to look around the shops, we also got to go a little train ride which takes you around the whole of kos town and went to McDonalds! After that we found a boat that did sunset cruises for 20 euros each which included a cocktail and buffet.
The boat had to be the best bit of our trip, it was amazing to go around the island, and so romantic :) Plus husband could eat the buffet of cold pizza, cheese and ham.
Tuesday, we went back into Kos Town, and went around the castle, it was so hot I thought I was melting!!! Then wandered around the shops and home.
Wednesday, we went back again to Kos Town and brought some more bits, went to dinner at a lovely cafe, husband had pizza and I had a salad really good!!
Thursday, we packed everything up, managed to keep our room passed midday which was good as the husband didn't have a good night sleep and ended up sleeping until 3pm, he went back to drop off the car and I wrote most of this blog entry.
Got to the airport the bus/coach was late, urgh, the airport was really busy because of delayed flights, was worried that our one was going to be delayed but lucky for us it wasn't! Got home at about 6am to fleas.... Had to get flea treatment stuff from the vets, de-flea the house and get the kittens.
It is now 8pm and I haven't slept for over 24 hours... urgh gonna go to bed soon....

9/9/9
Now you might of guessed it already but I am a highly strung kind of person, if it is not in my order or not done in the amount of time I want it done in, I get so stressed and very pissed off. Take today stupid travel agent called saying they had my tickets, now I thought the paper bit was my ticket but it is not and then she went on to say she had called me last week, I was in the house everyday last week so they couldn't of called! So that annoyed me, went down into town and got the tickets.
Came home to read the tickets, flight times have changed, and for the car hire we need my husbands paper bit of his license which he hasn't got, then I had to call the care hire and explain, they said as long as I have proof of address we should be fine, better be fine as I have spent £130 on car hire!!!!
In-between going to town and sorting out this crap, I couldn't remember where I had booked the cats in, called up saying did I book my cats in here? Found the place in the end and am now printing off directions... also my brother, my mum, my dad and my mother in law have all called not to mention the four calls and sixty texts from the husband... I am so worn out now, I need this holiday.
Okay I will try and calm down now, okay this will be my last post for about nine days as I have a shit phone and can't get on the internet through it :(

Leek & Bacon Pasta Recipe
Leek & Bacon Pasta Recipe
Ingredients
- Leeks chopped
- One piece of bacon chopped
- 50grams of pasta
- Butter
- Pepper
Recipe
Boil a pan of water, once boiled drop in the pasta and let it cook for 20 to 25minutes
Once the pasta is cooked, drain the pasta and let cool
Heat up a knob of butter in another pan, let it melt and add in the bacon and leeks, don't let them burn so keep stirring!
Once cooked add to the pasta and add some pepper

Since I had such an exciting post the other day, I thought I would give an update, I now have a black sheep! Yay! I got it off Ashley's page on facebook, I am quite pleased with myself... god I think I have been at home too long on my own starting to go a little odd :P
Whoa I am scared orange and T-Mobile are joining forces... scary! I don't know if this will be for the best that leaves you with about three options this joint maybe they will be called T-Orange or Orange Mobile, 02 and three. I'm still with 02 just because I get free calls to other 02 number and texts :) Maybe I will get more signal with the joint companies just because they will be covering more area of the UK. Saying all this ramble I wonder if my mobile will work in Greece and how much it is going to cost me to receive text messages? I don't think Kos has that much Wifi, don't think I will get my laptop on the internet and I think I will send text messages to twitter so I can update you all on my holiday :)
This is where I am going in the little red square, I am quite excited about it all not as excited as the husband who is bouncing of the walls about the trip, I have started to pack yesterday, I need to go into town to post remaining of ebay parcels, get Euros and leave in hair condition. It will be weird not having the internet for a week or so as I am such an internet junkie but it will be good for me, I guess :P
Okay I'd better go and finish my packing of ebay and doing the five paid blogging posts :)

Weekend
I am alive after the evening of drinking and drunken posts. Had a good evening, went to mums for dinner to have onion and bacon pasta which was yummy plus a couple of glasses of wine with my whole family minus the husband and my brother's friend. Then we went out to town where I managed to be a DJ for an hour, had three double vodkas and coke and was very pleased that I could smoke outside but underground, if that makes sense, it was a good night and I went home at midnight :)
Then I managed to stay awake to write my post and play on farmville loads looking for a stupid black sheep, everyone else has one :( I am very disappointed in this! Then I passed out on the sofa woke up at 3am then went to bed.
Today me and the husband went around to my rents to have Sunday Lunch, which was really yummy and we had bread and butter pudding, very yummy, now feeling very full. Said good bye to my brother as I won't see him for 3 months as he is now going to uni tomorrow, my stepdad and mum are taking my brother tomorrow which will take them four hours to get there.
I have three days until I go to Greece, I am getting excited about it now, I just hope the transfers and everything goes to plan and I really really hoping the hotel is nice and all that.
Back to watch come dine with me, where it is a total bitch-feast

Drink
I am drunk drunk drink drunk, went out for my brothers leaving drinks am home at midnight which is good for me! BUT the husband has gone to bed and is being boring so I'm awake and quite drunk doing nothing but spamming people on facebook, sorry people but it has to be done :P

Sleepy
It was a busy day today, went to the jewelery shop to sort out my ring as you know I lost the stone in the middle of my engagement ring, somehow in my house dunno where, I think the cats might of run off with it or it fell down into between the floorboards, who knows! But I do have a replacement ring coming after the honeymoon, so I am pleased :)
Then we went to the bank paid in some money, late wedding gifts! Also went to boots to get shampoo and other boring items, to pound land kind of shop to get boxes and picture frames for my brother's leaving present and to the computer shop to get them to fix the husbands main computer while we are away.
Quick stop at home then back out to two supermarkets and the office post, am feeling so tired now plus I was forced to get up early by the husband as it is his dad off! So didn't even get a lie after my three hours of sleep the other night.
Brother's leaving drinks tomorrow and the family Sunday Roast on you guessed right Sunday, it all feels a bit busy for my living as I like the dull life but I better get use to being busy with uni starting back up in four weeks...
Okay I'm going watch the rest of Paycheck which is a very odd film, kind of like Dollhouse!

Lamb & Rosemary Skewers Recipe
Lamb & Rosemary Skewers
Ingredients
- Lemons
- Paprika
- Dijon Mustard
- Lamb
- Fresh Rosemary
Recipe
1. Mix the zest of two lemons with 1 teaspoon paprika and 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
2. Slice up the lamb and mix it with the mixture created above until it is well coated
3. Take 6 springs of rosemary and strip the leaves off the stem, leaving some at the top
4. Thread the coated lamb onto the springs
5. Cook for 10 minutes on a grill
Roasted Garlic Ciabatta Recipe
Roasted Garlic Ciabatta
Ingredients
- Garlic Blub
- Ciabatta
- Tomates
- Avocado
Recipe
1. Wrap a whole blub of garlic in foil and roast it in the oven at gas mark 4 for 35 to 40 minutes
2. Once cooked leave it to cool, then slice of the top and squeeze out the insides
3. Cut the ciabatta lenghtways and divide into 3 bits
4. Toast the ciabatta and spread the garlic plup onto it
5. Chop up the avocado and tomatoes into cubes
6. Spread the cubes onto the toasted ciabatta and drizzle with olive oil
7. Season with salt and pepper
Veggie Soup Recipe
This is a great recipe for using up all those left over veg and is very tasty :)
Ingredients
Any leftover vegatables
Ginger (fresh or in the box)
Tin of Sweetcorn
Recipe
1. Put all cooked and chopped vegetables into a blender with the tin of sweetcorn and a small peeled chopped piece of ginger or a teaspoon of ginger and blender.
2. Add 500ml Vegetable stock made with half a vegetable stock cube and boiling water
3. Put it all back into a pan and heat
4. Eat with crusty bread :)

6am
Whoa I have been up since 6am, I haven't been up this early in nearly 6 months, talk about strange, my brain isn't working you are going to have to forgive me about spelling and order of this post!
I feel alright about not taking the job, I didn't even get a reply to my e-mail which to be honest is quite rude, oh well some people haven't got manners.
Had a bad night sleep, for some reason Kit was awake at 3am, meowing and scratching the door for about 3 hours, so really I have been up since 3am, means I have had about 3/4 hours sleep, which pretty much sucks for me but it is worse for the husband since he had to go to work.
I don't know why Kit was meowing maybe it was because it was really windy and raining hard last night, that could of upset her but if it was that then the other two would of joined in for the hell of it. I think it was because we ran out of cat biscuits so she was protesting, urgh!
Yesterday I spent the day doing my brothers leaving present, managed to get friends box-set season 1 to 10 for £45, bargain, tomorrow husband off so I am getting the cans and other food supplies for his dorm room, also burning him a load of TV series and what not. Oh I also managed to get mobile numbers, address and birthdays for him of the family because he doesn't know what day it is let alone whos birthday it is today.
I checked out the weather in Kos, Greece, compared to where I am, it has rained for the last week and the weather has been rubbish all summer but in Greece 31 degrees sunny everyday, I cannot wait for the sunshine! And some warmth :)

Catch 22
I have mentioned the job in the bridal shop before back in March and in the last couple of posts, I did manage to call the tax office and it is true I will lose my £60 a month which is a pain in the arse so out of working for a month after travel costs I would bring home about £30 and that isn't worth me spending 6 hours of my Saturday in a shop, okay if it was computer related then yes I would do it in a second even if it was only £30 a month, it is only a bridal shop and I will not end up in retail again after my degree.
It is really disappointing but after talking to my dad (best advice giver ever!) and my husband, I have come to conclusion not even wasting their time with the job trial as it will be wasting my time and their time when I have no intention of taking the job. It sucks being on this level of poorness in the UK, I am screwed if I get a job as we lose money from the government and from uni, if I don't have a job then we are poor, it is like a catch 22. At the moment I earn about £200 a month from ebay and paid blogging so that will be added onto the £300 I get from uni a month, which is more than I would get at any low hour paid job.
Also I found out an interesting fact that if I earn over £300 a month through other income then I have to say what I have earned, which is NOT happening, not that I earn over £300 a month regularly, £200 extra is pretty good going :)
Anyway I am feeling a bit low now, I just wished it could of worked out but I do hope to go back to another retail job in December as I loved it there last year! And it was amazingly fun ;)
