Weight

Today we brought bathroom scales, I have not been on a set of scales for about two years, so I got on them today and I am 9 and half stone, which isn't my heavy weight but like my normal weight.  I know I am in the top of a normal healthy BMI scale but still I have been really good lately well in the last week (porridge for breakfast plus fruit, yogurt, special K bar and fruit for lunch and a nice yummy meal but I have addiction to croissant and pastries at uni), smaller portions and not snacking as much :(  I would like to be 8 and half or just 8 stone.

Any tips of losing a stone and half in the next couple of months, I am going to start getting back on my exercise bike every day but anyone else give me some good tips to lose weight and what I should eat?  I would be so grateful.

  2. Weight watchers all the way! I'm a stone lighter already and today was able to fit into my smaller size work tunic! I love it. You can eat what you want and it's all good as long as you count those points. I'm aiming for 10 stone then will decide how thin I look and if I need to loose more! Xx

  3. It's simple really. Just burn more calories than you take in. You can find BMR calculators online. Make sure you eat whole grain bread, plenty of fruits and veggies, stay away from sugars, eat lean protein and fiber to keep you full longer. Drink nothing but water too. And work your butt off with exercise. If you want a challenge you can try burpees, look them up.

  4. Way I've occasionally used is this:
"The Hacker's Diet: Or How to lose weight and hair through stress and poor nutrition"

It's effectively dieting from the standpoint of an engineer. Clicky here: http://www.fourmilab.ch/hackdiet/www/hackdiet.html

  5. Keep your calories below 1500/day and go for a half hour's walk every day. That's how I dropped my extra 30 kilos. There really is no other permanent weight loss solution, I'm afraid.
