Drained

Sooooo I didn't get the scholarship which is really disappointed, I found out on Monday but haven't had a free second to come and blog, it's a bit rubbish as I cannot apply next year as I am third year student then :( Oh well, it was worth a try.

In other news (good that is) I managed to get a 65% for my algorithms assignment and even bigger shocked I got 78% for my last database assignment, that puts me in a 2:1 or 1:1 (so a first or a second hons degree) which is what I have been trying to work for this term, trying to get my marks up to 60% so far it hasn't gone that well I have passed my assignments (40%) but not the marks I want but oh hum, this term has been a bitch.

Friday night was fab, it was one of my best mates birthday, she is 24! Now as old as me :P

Parties

I am alive!!! Well in body not in mind, uni has been crazy with only 3 weeks until the end of term (hurrah!!), I've been working on my ftp java project, I had some success today as it is sending and receiving files so it is going well just onto listing the directories. I took this day off to get some work done and now I am pretty glad that I have done :)

I'm going up to London on Saturday to see my dad at a London show, he just turned 50! And now is feeling very odd, so me and my brother are travelling the 5 hours between us to go and see him to have lunch to celebrate his 50th with about 20 friends, so it should be good fun minus the 2 hours it is taking me to get up there and the four trains I have to get but it will be worth it.

Next week is hand in date for this ftp project plus another assignment then it is one of my best friends 24th birthday party, I am really looking forward to going as last year I missed as the husband got very ill, so I am there this year!

Okay back to watching Gossip Girl, Blair is such a bitch! Oh and she would be totally horrible to work for if she worked in Business Marketing.

Birthday Tomorrow!

I'm a bit slow at updating lately with uni and other issues going on it has been crazy week, I know I always say this but it makes a change from a month ago when I was sitting at home twiddling my thumbs waiting for something to happen, now uni has started back up it is all happening, family, friends, uni, work, pressure and all that good stuff :P

This was my excitement of the week, putting up my picture frames which contain my wedding photos! They look really cute and they are all in black and white to match my stairs and walls in the hallway :)

Oh and I made a cake, Apple Cake it was yummy :) Husband and my mum ate it all... piggies!

Oh something horrible happened last night, husband and me were watching Flashforward (which is amazing by the way!), and we heard all this noise upstairs in the office, so I sent the husband up to see what the cats were getting into now and Arthur had managed to get herself into one of those paper lamp shades which they had managed to knock down, the wire hoop was stuck around her waist you couldn't get it over her head or legs, she kept making that whimpering noise :( We managed to cut it off with some scissors but still it really scared me I didn't know how we were going to get it off her without hurting her.  She is fine today and back to normal :)

I'm 24 tomorrow and I am excited about all my DVDs and surprised presents that my husband and mother in law have got me, I will have to show you all my presents :P) I'm going back to writing the sponsored blogs and ordering Christmas card bits.

So went with the leggings

Title says it all, I went with leggings because by the time I went out at 9pm after my bag had broken oh and the stone out of my engagement ring is MISSING! It has fallen out somehow, I never wear it only when I go out and I was in teh house all day yesterday and the husband got home from work and I was starting the tea and bath, went to put some leggings on and came back down stairs to look at my hand and see it MISSING! Lucky for me I have insurance but I am still pretty pissed about it all.

Then we went out and I lost the use of my camera, got home at 12.30pm and had some quailty time with the husband ;)

Busy week, got that job I mentioned below trial on Tuesday and then hopefully I start Saturday, only 6 hours a week but if I do more than that then I lose my benefits and it will be too much for uni, Saturday night is my brothers leaving drinks party, I do hope Freya will be joining us ;) and then Sunday it is good bye roast dinner for my brother at my mums house.  Oh and on Friday we have to get Onion down to the vets for his jabs and take husbands computer to the shop for mending!

Then the week after it is GREECE TIME!!! WOOOHOOOO HONEYMOON!

Okay better go roast dinner is nearly done, yum!

What the hell

Okay it's a friends boyfriends birthday drinks session tonight and as I am poor I have decided to get a head start and just get a few drinks while I am out, anywho this is my outfit for tonight, I have red high heels too :) What you think?

First time I have wore this dress in ages, I am debating whether to put some leggings on but it is long enough I think :P

Busy busy bubble bee

So I went to see my best mate today and her daughter, trying to get her blog back up and running after like 2 years, I have been designing it, what do you think? Not finished at all but I have started it! Hurrah!

Hopefully I will get it down tonight, well I hope, and even better it might be up by tonight, I say maybe!

Husband is working till 8pm tonight so I am trying to catch up on websites, I have loads of new ideas to keep this website interesting, tonight I am going to start doing my recipes which I have made up or family recipes :) They are good, and I will include pictures.

Also I am starting some tutorials of things I have learned about from uni, for example, JAVA, and other important computer related bits :) Plus wordpress bits I have picked up oh and photoshop, my darling photoshop, hopefully you guys will enjoy it!

Oh as my title does say busy bubble bee, I have been accepted by the quilting bee :) I am so pleased, yay yay, longer post later

Seasons

Now I do love autumn when I think about seasons, I think about going back to college or university, I think about my birthday which is 18th of October, I love it when the trees change colours. And then again I like winter because it is near Christmas and the start of a new year which is always exciting, oh and SNOW!  I find Spring and the time after Christmas really slow and wet, it is just horrible time of year!

Community

When I think of community I think of Lavish.nu mainly because I have been there for so long and everyone is really nice, I do love the random topics we come out with ;) Also community makes me think of my gurls and my university friends, because when you see someone every day for 9 months at a time, you become slow quite quickly and it is nice to have a support network.

Hobby

Now hobby, I have a few hobbies, my main one is my computer, I am so in love with all technology related stuff, I read, I work and I play all my computer, plus I would be so lost without the internet! Other hobbies are my tv shows, and collecting them, I also collect comics, Angelica dolls from the Rugrats and I love to re-designing my house :) Oh and making things from scratch!

Normally I think of my husband and how we have changed each other for the better over the last two and half years, but then I think of my family, my parents and my siblings.  I adore my brothers and sisters more than they will ever know, they always light up my life and made it more interesting, I hope we will still be close as we are all growing up!  I don't really show pictures of my brothers and sisters but here is a treat for you all then :P I also have a stepfather and stepmother, but I cannot find nice pictures of them at the mo :P

Self-Love

Now I am not someone who hates they way they look, I don't like my tummy, but I do love my hair and I do think we some make-up I look pretty, I will try and love myself more, at least I am not as vain as I use to be ;)

Shopping

So I had a lovely time with my best mate and her daughter, went to Primark and spent £40 on her clothes, got loads!!! I trust her fashion sense as she always dresses fashionable to me!  There is one other person who I think looks great and makes it look so easy, when it isn't and that is an old family friend.  Always went to lunch and she showed me what she had done to her flat, I am loving her big grown up bed frame!

Shopping

Yay! I am off out, leaving the house for the first time in three days!  To go shopping, to get some leggings and other bits and bobs!

I'm excited!! Will take pictures!!!  Woop! Woop!!

Hungover

Okay so last night was the first time I have been out in ages and it was really good fun, I must admit, went around to one of my brothers friends flat had a couple of bottles of wine, it was really nice to be out, I wore leggings out and a long top recommend by my best mate and I think I look pretty "cool" even if I do say so myself.

We haven't done much over the boytoys hol which is nice and it has been really nice to have him home all day as it gives me some alone time with him and of course the much need company.

I have managed to make my £300 for the September month which is really good and I am really impressed, made it in 2 weeks, and now I still have 322 items on ebay I have got to figure out how to sale all these times as they are now offically filling up my house with stuff!

I have decided to get that laptop which I have mentioned below but I am waiting until October when the uni money hits but I did get to see one today and it is so small, you wouldn't even notice I had one in my large handbags! Great for uni, yay!

Ooooooh I have added a hit counters today as I have no idea what my hits are on  this website *sweat drop* urgh I feel sick now I'd better laid down stupid wine!

Sunday Morning

Well I have no idea what is going on with the website, it is down, it is up, then it is down again, making it very confusing.  Hopefully the server people will fix it today because I never had this problem before I moved onto this server!

So I am awake on a Sunday morning at 8am, which is pretty good going for me but the hubby is still in bed and is whining about having to get up, and how this day is going to be boring, that really annoys me how are you suppose to know if a day is going to be boring until you get up and do something.

I am starting to feel normal again, I slept all yesterday so did the husband, and I personally believe we needed the sleep.  I think with all the stresses this week and him working, I think it just got on top of us, I've had to deal with the added stresses of people issues.  I was going to blog about but decided that it is not even worth it any more.

Other than that I have been looking for new make-up, I haven't worn any for awhile as I am not happy with my current selection, so i need a new foundation (one for oily skin), bronzer, skin highlighter, cream blusher, then something for under my eyes.

Me and the hubby figured out last night in the last 6 months we have watched, all of 24, all of Lost, Bones, Supernatural, Weeds, Dollhouse and now 4400, that's a lot of tv shows you fit into 6 months, I have to say my favourite is Lost, I didn't like it at first because it is really hard to get into but once you are it becomes addictive! Now season five has finished, I'm a bit lost without it, ha ha no pun intended!

My muther and hubby adore 24, my mum wants to be Jack Bauer and my husband wants to be with Jack Bauer, me on the other hand just wants to be the bad guys, gotta love Nina, she was a great bad guy!

Okay I have been writing this post for two hours due to distraction, urgh, hubby is still not up but I did find two friends I haven't spoken to in a year on fb :) Yay!

Yup I am now a married woman ;) I have about 300 images so far but I am waiting for everyone to upload all of thiers as well.. here are a few, we had very drunk people, people throwing up on the golf course (ha ha!), someone fell off the top table while dancing and hit thier  head and someone ripped their trousers while trying to sit on someone else ha ha!! Great night and day, now it is just revision that needs to be done (DULL!)
