I have done a day and half at uni, it is going well so far! I am really enjoying my database and networks lectures, because this is the field I want to work in when I finish my degree, to be honest I am a geek and databases plus networks are just want I love :P The other two subjects this term Compilers and Program Analysis not so keen on I think there will be a lot of programming involved saying that I know there is a lot of programming in the compilers subject and the program analysis well it is more of the computing machines plus algorithms oh joys! I think I will have to through the notes tomorrow on my day off.
At the moment I am revising networks that we did in this lesson so I really know what he is talking about and this will help me enjoy it even more :)
Other than that I haven't be doing anything else other than running my little household, cats are driving me nuts, Kit has decided she needs to meow all the time when we get home to make a point of us not leaving her again for a whole day!! She isn't use to it as I have been at home for the last 3 months... she will get back into the routine by the end of this term I am sure.
Day off tomorrow very excited about it, I am so sleepy! Since I didn't get home till 8pm last night and up again at 6am this morning, oh the joys of 9am lectures, they should be banned!! But I have to start catching up on SQL and my java as well as do the normal bits and bobs.
Okay I'd better go and work, also re-order my sisters birthday present as it didn't turn up the first time around, sigh!

Thanks for the comment. I'd LOVE to cut him out of mine and my son's life - unfortunately he won't have any of it. I've begged this man to sign away his parental rights for the last 6 years, he purposely won't do it because "he wants to make my life a living hell", at least that's what he said. Plus, we have court orders that he has visitation as long as he calls 24 hours in advance - if I tell him he can't have his son, he can call the cops and tell them I'm going against court orders. We're going back to court eventually - so I'm hoping to get all that changed - thus the reason I wrote it out.

Oh, databases and networks sound really tough. I could never figure out those but then again, it's not my area of studies so... ;)

9am lectures are mean! I never had one in the whole of my time at university, saying that though a 9:15 lecture isn't much better haha.
