Well it has been ages since I last blogged which is pretty bad of me, after the exams a week and half ago, I have been trying to make some extra cash on ebay (if I don't I am pretty much screwed for paying my loan) and while spending all this time on ebay and my own fansites, made me realise about my own debt, I accepted that I made it, which I did, and now I am clearing it off, slowly, but I hit below 5 grand the other week which is amazing since I did owe about er I think it was 9 or 10 grand so I am half way there.
Also I think that with the last couple of years it has been "fashionable" to have a credit card and live be on our own means, so people have been thinking it is alright to keep spending on shit we never use but now with the credit crunch hitting big style in the Uk, we are all like oh shit...
I'm glad I met my husband as he has no debt, lives in his means and guess what has savings, total alien! And I have slowly learned to budget and paid of one credit card so it can't be all that bad. I wish I could plan meals better, I keep buying food and end up it going out of date. Urgh!!!!!!
I was so amazed by my best mate she always has the correct food in the house for her daughter (I guess having children does that to you) and it bloody amazes me, today for example she was making cheese scones so her daughter could have them for tea with beans and ham (I think?) and some for her and her partner later in the evening! So organized, very jealous!!
Exciting news, I am getting a car finally! And my husband is going to teach me to drive, bloody scary, I have done about 30 hours worth of lessons but that was a long time ago (about 5 years now!) so I thought if I want to save money going to and from uni and to be able to see my friends more then I will have to learn how to drive!!!!! Hopefully find one in the next week, I am quite excited...
Okay back to cleaning my kitchen and put the covers back on the sofa...
