Sunday Morning!
I was thinking about starting my driving lessons again this October when I get my uni money in as I've been stuck in the house all day so I need to drive. MIL is coming over today to drop off some food shopping as I haven't been able to get out and get some food :(
I really really want to go and work with MET weather, I was looking at their jobs online and their work experience should be online soon, but they are placed all the way down in Exeter so I am going to look for places to do work experience close to home until I finish my degree but after my degree me and boytoy will move to where ever I need to go :)
I am thinking when I have my year off after my degree to have an offspring that maybe I could do a Maths alevel... maybe as employers might want to hire me more ha ha!
I really need to wash my hair and get out of my fantasy world, then put make-up on and wash my kitchen floor.... oh don't I lead the life

Crappy weekend
I have been applying for money for next year, fingers crossed I get a pass this year, well if I don't I will be so disappointed in myself, anywho because I'm poor and I'll be married I can get an extra 3 grand onto of my 3 and half grand which is very nice! Plus another 2 grand from the uni will give me more money than when I was working part-time :)
Urgh this weekend is really shite! Haven't been able to do anything and I don't want to go out and leave boytoy alone as he won't cook or get himself lemsip when hes on his own..
Urgh I would rather be at uni...

Uni is driving me crazy, last Computering Machine assignment mark came out today and I have 1 mark of a pass which pretty much pissed me off but oh hum, the assignment is only worth 12.5% (don't ask!) , and I have another 3 to do and then an exam to get my final grade, joys!

Plus Programming needs part 2 done by Thursday which I haven't even started yet and everyone keeps telling me that this part is a bitch to do!
Then there is group work with my program design work to do and I swear we haven't done everything for one part of it but will they listen to me, no! And HCI there is an informal chat on Monday for my group and we have done fuck all so that should be fun!
Other than that dribble, I have been buying everything for the wedding, saw BM once to get some food shopping done and to get my xbox online which should be super fun whenever I get chance to play it, maybe in the hols? Pleaseee???
Next week is half term for some people but not for me, I am suppose to be seeing the BM on monday night but need to change it as I don't think I will have all my work done, then seeing my hair dresser friend on Tuesday to talk about my wedding hair, Wednesday should be a FYEO shoot with BM and her photographer mummy, Thursday I am going to get my wedding dress fitted with my mum and the weekend erm.. uni work more than likely as we are entering week 6, ekk!! Only 4 weeks left of this term.
Exciting news my new 42" telly comes tomorrow!! Yay! About time really, the telly we borrowed from my mum keeps losing the sound so this so exciting!!!
Okay back to finishing this assignment, the boytoy went to the cinema with his best man tonight so I have time on my own :)

Spend from the 1st to the 8th Feb 09
Goals for this month is to stop smoking well at least stop buying them and just smoke baccey at home which is the hubby's and then stop all together.
Also stop buying so much food, that is where my money goes on at the moment as I pay for all the food in the house.

My budget is £40 a week so if I haven't of got the bus or brought lunch that one day and stop buying fags I would be at 42.72... oh hum hopefully next week will be better being able to look at it like this makes me notice where the money is going.
I want to start writing up all my food shopping and seeing where I was wasting money, I can do that for this week as I just did a tesco delivery yesterday.
Other than that it has been uni, uni, snow and wedding buying. Nearly everything is brought for the wedding just need a couple of bits, I also managed to get my £121.00 cheque back from my old job and my grandma gave me £100 so it is all good strainght into the bank account that goes for the savings.
Luckily I have nealy 4 months of savings so that should keep me going until the end of June then I'll get a full time job for the summer and back to uni for the second year with my grants of course (get more next year due to the fact I am married) and hubby will have a raise by then :)
January Spend

If I haven't got a take-away or gone out I would of probably be alright and maybe not taking the bus as well...

Snow, snow and more snow
South and South East
Some 255 Berkshire schools are now closed. In Hampshire, 540 schools have shut for the day.
Heavy snowfall has caused major disruption on roads in Kent and Surrey and closed at least 240 schools.
The M25 is closed clockwise between Reigate and Leatherhead, junctions 8 and 9 and there are reports of several vehicles becoming stuck in the snow. There are three lanes closed anticlockwise in the same location.
First Great Western (FGW) services between London Paddington and Reading, Berkshire, and the West Country have been disrupted due to "adverse weather conditions".
South West Trains is running a reduced service from London to Hampshire and Dorset.
There have been no inbound or outbound flights at Southampton airport. Five flights have been cancelled.
It is crazy here in England, we are getting more snow for the next 5 hours... crazy!

Off to do some programming work and take more piccies

Arugh snow...

My garden with a little bit of snow... 45 minutes later, I do not lie it was like this:

My poor kittens are scared as they don't know what snow is... poor Arthur..

Britain set for heavy snowstorms
Snowstorms from Russia are expected to hit south-eastern England through Sunday night and into Monday morning, forecasters have warned.
Bitter easterly winds will cause snow to drift, with falls of 5cm (1.9in) to 10cm (3.9in) predicted over many parts of England and Wales.
The BBC Weather Centre said conditions could be "at least as bad" as in 2003 when motorists were trapped on the M11.
Scotland and Northern Ireland are expected to be less badly affected.
Apart from a few light snow flurries in the east of England, conditions would mainly be dry during the daylight hours of Sunday, the BBC Weather Centre said.
Extra care
But after dark on Sunday night and through to the rush hour on Monday morning, "disruptive snowfall" is expected across central, eastern and southern England.
Icy winds heading for the UK will also make temperatures feel "sub zero" as the coldest winter in 13 years continues.
Night-time temperatures are set to drop to -2C (28F) as a blast of cold air sweeps in from the North Sea.
On Saturday, winds began gusting at up to 70mph (112km/h) over the hills of northern Britain and snow could fall as deep as 20cm (7.8in) over high ground in the coming days.
BBC weather forecaster Alex Deakin said: "Temperatures during the day will reach one or two degrees above freezing but with the significant wind chill it will feel sub-zero everywhere."
The AA have warned motorists to ensure they keep warm clothes in their vehicles if they were planning to go out.
The organisation's Andy Taylor said: "People often treat their car as an overcoat.
"But when you break down you are suddenly vulnerable to the weather.
"If you break down on a motorway, the safety advice is to get out of the car and wait behind the barrier. Unless you have extra clothes you really are flirting with hypothermia."
Slightly milder air will move in during Tuesday, with snow mainly confined to hills and in other areas precipitation is expected to turn to rain.
Noooooooo!! I don't want the snow... maybe I could get someone else to print of my work for me?? it's really snowing outside now... heavy!
Weekly Spend
Again spent over but did buy the favours for the wedding which are blue smarties and mums making a little something special, alright week saw the BM and ask my other best friend if she wanted to be bridesmaid she was really touched :) Gotta have a wedding meeting with them both this week.
Maybe I should stop smoking then I would save myself loads of pennies!
Other than it's just been uni uni and more uni, just typing up my Computer Machines assignment but it looks like it is going to snow and I am really worried that I won't be able to getto uni and I HAVE to go in tomrrow just the fact I have to hand in this assignment by 4pm and we have a HCI group meeting.
That little red circle is where I live (kind of !)..
Nooo snoooooow!
