Weekly Spend

I've worked out I am only suppose to spend £40 a week on food and other bits, I went over thie week by £15, I will have to try really hard next week.

Computing Machines

So still I haven't got a job anymore I am spending my weekends catching up on the workshop classes and I am trying to do Computing Machines which is the crazyness amount of maths I have seen in a while, this is what I am having to create:

I finding it alot better than alogrithms that I did last term but still it makes my head hurt, my notebook is fullof little circles trying to figure out these last two questions:

8. The language of all strings consisting of the symbols 0 and 1 such that
the string contains an even number of occurrences of the symbol 1.
9. The language of all strings consisting of the symbols 0 and 1 such
that when the string is interpreted as a binary number it is exactly
divisible by 3.

Maybe I'll get it working soon but after this I have to get some programming done as I have some workshop work to do...

It's all uni work today, fingers crossed I understand some more this term..

Why oh why has wordpress eaten my plugins

Ah!! Something happened to my twitters and my flickr account on my sidebar are gone, very strange....everything else works (I think).

I got up this morning and it was raining, I left for uni and it was raining and I returned in the rain, crappy weather... urgh! I hate it plus my cheap ugg boots (not really ugg boots but primark) have starte to leak so I had wet feet..

After installing about 20 plugins for the hell off and not really knowing what half of them do, I am hoping for less spam and as I did upgrade after *cough* a year, it might work.

Boytoy is in a horrible mood as he hasn't eaten but doesn't want me to make him anything and he has been in his room for hours doingthese bits for ebay, it is becoming a little bit of a scary obession..

Anyway I am off to dye paper with tea... joys!

Start of another crappy week..

So this afternoon I have been resting as I stayed over at the BM last night, got up went to uni to find out that my workshop had been moved to Tuesday so now I have missed the group meetings which pisses me off and I have no group :(

Then two lectures and I fell asleep so now having to catch up on lecture notes for today and tomorrow.I can't seem to get into the swing of uni, and I am trying really hard, I don't know why maybe having that break and going back?

I am stressing but I always stress when it gets a little too much, I know I will feel a little less stressed in week 5/6 as I will be half way thru and it will all be assignments.Then my work contract was ended, so now I am jobless but thank god for my savings...

Other news, I took a pregnancy test last night but it was negative, we knew I wouldn't be but I thought just in case, I know it's not right now and we want to try next Oct/Nov (2010) but I am still feeling a disappointed but I don't know why I have uni, it's just werid... can't wait to try probably...Okay I am back to watch sex and the city to make me feel happy..

Working + uni = stress!

I am feeling so stressed lately with uni starting up and saving pennies so I don't have to work, well my contract at this store ends next Tuesday which I must say I am pleased just because working nights is far to hard to do, I have to be up at 6am at uni then go to work 5pm till 9pm then home for 10pm and up again the next day at 6am... urgh I am so tired.

I am going to give them a call after my next lesson to see if I could work on a Friday or Saturday afternoons as I can't keep up with doing the evenings...

Okay I have to go otherwise I'll be late but I will have a 4 hour gap so I am will be blogging in more detail!

The one thing that really gets to me about being dyslexic apart from how the word is spelt (seriously! WTF!), is how people treat me, I had my dyslexic report back as they had to re-test me (yet again, oh and I am dyslexic, really? surpise surpise) so I could get some money from the government.

This woman was talking to me like I was stupid, seriously, I know how to read my own report and fill in the forms, I have been running my own home for the past year and half, I did my own mortgage forms and solictors forms for my partner as he couldnt' understand them.

Just because I can not spell, sound out words or remember a lot of  things does not make me stupid, I completed my A Levels with AAA, and my last programming grade was 97%!

Blah! Annoying people in student services....

Apart from uni was good today, I had two lectures - HCI and Program Design which seem interesting...

Tomorrow I have one lecture because it's the first week on further programming which means I will be spending hours shouting at Java.

Boytoy had a good day at work (first day!) and he will be home in an hour, so I going to go and fill in these forms plus another form for health care help.

Oh my goodness!

Oh my god! I was just on the phone to my best mate looked in my two female 1 year old dwarf hamsters cage to see half a hamster!Yup that's right, one of them ate the other!!!!!  It looks like there was a fight and I guess the other one was protecting herself, killed her and then ate half of her... Feeling quite sick at the moment, still don't understand why, they were well looked after, always had food, water and clean cage, I've had hamsters before but this is a first...I think I am going to stick to cats, this is my last hamster...RIP Holly :(

It's snowing!!

Wow! It has started to snow here :)

I'm so excited by it:)

 

 

 Not alot has really gone on today apart from working, there is a good chance I might be kept on, I am so pleased!! I also went and brought some presents to stay in my cupboard from the sales so just in case I forget anyones birthday...

Now me and the hubby are listing things on eBay, we would like to raise £500 for the savings account.

Er Happy New Year?

Well I had a crappy new year... was stuck staying awake till 5am because of some drama...Then I had work at 11am so I wasn't best pleased so much for a nice quiet night in...Happy New Fucking Year to me..

Oh well.. bring on the new year, I did have a funny time at work, one of the other temps was so drunk at work, it just cracked me up ...I am glad to be home with my lover with my kitties to spend the evening in...I need the bloody sleep!
