Okay, well while I was at work last trying to figure out if I made the right choice in leaving work (Uni is more important!!), I was thinking of things I won't miss (apart from 4 people), I don't normally post about my job but as I have quit and only have one weekend left I thought what the heck!
1. When facing up, making sure all the bottle drinks are forward and looking pretty, some annoying customer comes and takes one, leave it be please! You do not need cola at 10.30pm at night!
2. While packing your carrier bag, you do not then unpack the bag and re-pack it!
3. Dirty money from dirty customers, please wash first
4. Coughing and ill customers, please do not cough on me!
5. Don't call me by my name badge, on second thoughts unless you know me don't say my name at all, it's creppy. Also the lady who always says my name like she knows me but when I had a different name badge on calls me back that name, it's been two and half fricking years!!!
6. Ungrateful Managers
7. Crappy jokes customers tell me every time I am there... it's like they are on a loop!
8. Weather catching, yes I know it is raining, no you are not the first person to tell not even the first 50!
9. Saying "pick me a lucky one" when you buy lotto, if I had the ability to do that I would not be working here
10. Customers asking me where things are when they haven't even looked and it normally turned out they are standing right next to them
11. Having conversation with the person next to you, it is just rude, this goes for chatting on mobiles too
12. Talking down to me, I am more than likely more educated than you and your dole family put together
13. Customer who buy drink everyday without fail, please get help, to the white lighting man who I like always very friendy, please get help!
14. Trollies, you do not need to do your full weeks shop in our little express store, we will hide them again!
15. Kids who steal our trolleys
16. Broken cash machine is not our fault, we do not have anything to do with it
17. Again with above, cash machine eating your card again not our problem
18. Forgetting your pin, why ask me what your pin is? Do I look like a mind reader?
19. Kids who are banned who keep trying to get back in, you are banned, you are free of this store leave it be
20. Kids who run down customers as entering the store on their skate boards
21. Standing behind a till ofr 6 hours without a chair and customers asking why are you unhappy, I'm unhappy because you think it is a good reason to come in here at 10.30pm at night to buy a chocolate bar!
22. Breaking things and walking off
23. Moving things and putting them in odd places - croissants in the freezer?
24. Having ago at me because a. your card has no money in it, b. your card is locked because you forgot your pin, I did warn you if you enter it wrong 3 times it won't work!
25. Being stalked by management
26. Being told off for talking
27. Rumbling and facing up, again totally point-less the store will look like a shit hole 5 minutes later anyway
28. New rules management makes up on a daily basis
29. When asking for fags and I turn around to get them, return you then ask for something else behind me, believe me I can remeber 3 times at once, I do have this skill
30. Taking a bag when you only have one item
31. The little shits who steal from my store
32. Meat thieves
33. Shampoo/Health thieves, did you not get into the meat thieves crowd?
34. I am not a babysitter
35. Nor is your kid cute!
36. Dropping aload of pennies on my till
37. Children who can not count, again might not be your fault, you are 15 years old, did they not teach you this in school?
38. Complaining to me we have this or that brand, we are a small store
39. The joke "I only came in for a few things" is so old, write a list
40. Pointing out your car is the green one, that does not help me find your petrol quicker, funny enough loads of cars are green
